Ongoing Communication for CinemaCity on TikTok

Objectives

  • Reach a younger target audience 
  • Promote the cinema as a better alternative to streaming platforms 
  • Build awareness of the repertoire and encourage visits to the cinema 

STRATEGY / IDEA:

Our goal was to fully leverage TikTok’s potential.  

The communication idea focused on the concept that the magic of cinema is unlimited (in reference to the Unlimited card). Our task was to showcase all the benefits of cinema screenings and the client’s offerings in an accessible, engaging, and platform-appropriate way.  

Execution

The activities ran for 3 months and were divided into sales-driven objectives and ongoing activities, which included content production directly in the client’s cinemas.  

Communication centered on promoting film premieres, the Unlimited subscription, raising awareness of concessions, and driving footfall during special events. Additionally, we emphasized creating formats that competitors do not offer, ensuring the communication remained unique within a homogeneous category.

It is particularly worth highlighting the engagement generated on the profile, which in some months was up to 400% higher than competitors!
